- FIT: The BOA 360° system includes an adjustable dial. which provides a more secure fit and maximizes safety. An overall improvement in the shell shape ensures. that the ARO5 Race sits lower on the head for better balance while also conforming more naturally to the contours of your head.
- LIGHTWEIGHT: The ARO5 Race is lighter than its predecessor, the ARO5, thanks to a newly designed shell and other internal modifications.
- PROTECTION: The Mips® Air safety system is a low-friction layer integrated into the helmet designed to reduce rotational movement of the head, helping to reduce damaging forces that could otherwise impact the rider's head.
- VENTILATION: The ARO5 Race has newly designed front and top vents for significantly increased airflow and breathability. There are a total of 19 vents on the top, sides and back.
- LINING: Ionic+™ antimicrobial liner is sweat-activated, keeping things fresh and under control.
- GLASSES STORAGE: Front vents provide riders with a place to easily store their glasses. Unobtainium® grippers hold the temples in place, while foam cutouts on the inside of the helmet prevent the temples from hitting the wearer's head in the event of an impact, creating a simple and intuitive storage space for the rider's glasses.
- DESIGN: The ARO5 Race features a brand badge with an Iiridium® finish. which reflects the colors of the Prizm™ lenses. which can be seen in Oakley eyewear. Each badge color is unique to the helmet color. all of which celebrate the heritage of Oakley eyewear.
